Terms & conditions
The terms for using English Precision, including free practice, one-time purchases and your rights.
Last updated 7 September 2026
At a glance: start with the free Starter Pack. Paid packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Buy and restore through your app store.
The collection includes the four named packs, not future standalone packs. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the English Precision app and website, provided by ORACHA (UK) LIMITED, registered in England and Wales (number 15517641), at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact us at support@oracha.co.uk.
Please read these terms before using the app or making a purchase. The App Store or Google Play terms also apply to downloads, accounts and payments. Mandatory consumer rights remain in force regardless of anything in these terms.
Using English Precision
We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app and content you are entitled to access, for your own learning, subject to these terms and the applicable store rules. No English Precision account is required.
Keep your device and store account secure. If you are not old enough to enter a binding contract or make a store purchase where you live, a parent or guardian must give the necessary permission and manage purchases. Follow the age rating and parental controls for your app store.
Do not resell or redistribute the question banks, copy substantial parts of the app or website for commercial use, bypass purchase controls, interfere with the service, or use support channels unlawfully. This does not limit uses permitted by applicable law.
Free content and one-time packs
The Starter Pack includes 100 questions and is free. Each of the four paid packs—Work & Email, Study & Exams, English Fluency and Everyday Writing—contains 200 questions. Paid packs have a five-question preview.
Each paid pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The Four-Pack Collection grants access to the four named paid packs, totalling 800 questions, and updates to those packs. It does not include future standalone packs. The collection is not an automatic credit or upgrade for packs you already own.
A one-time purchase has no recurring fee and no scheduled subscription expiry. It is a licence to use the purchased content, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property or a promise of support for every future device or operating system. Your statutory rights relating to purchased digital content are unaffected.
Prices and payments
Purchases are completed through Apple or Google using your store account. The price, currency and applicable tax shown in the store purchase sheet are the terms of your purchase. Website prices are indicative UK launch prices; prices and availability may differ by territory or change for future purchases.
We use RevenueCat to check transaction status and provide access. Access is granted when the store confirms a valid purchase; a pending, cancelled or unsuccessful transaction does not unlock a pack. The website itself does not take payments.
Restoring purchases and your progress
To restore access, sign in to the same App Store or Google Play account used to buy the pack, connect to the internet and use Restore purchases in the app’s pack store or Profile. A purchase on one store does not grant a purchase on the other. Availability on additional devices is subject to the relevant store rules and device compatibility.
Learning progress is stored locally and is separate from purchase ownership. A progress backup does not unlock paid content or transfer purchases. Export a backup before removing the app or changing devices if you want to keep your learning history. We cannot recover data held only on a device or in a backup we do not possess.
Refunds, cancellation and problems
If a purchase has a problem, contact us and use the relevant store’s refund or purchase-support process. Apple or Google handles payment refunds under its policies and applicable law. If a transaction is refunded or revoked, the associated paid access may be removed; existing local learning history is retained.
Digital-content cancellation rights depend on your location and on any express agreement at checkout to immediate delivery and acknowledgement about cancellation. Nothing here removes your rights if digital content is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise fails to meet legal requirements. You may be entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer law.
See Apple’s refund guidance or Google Play’s refund guidance. Contact support if you need help identifying a purchase problem.
Learning content and availability
English Precision is a practice tool. Content is educational and is not professional advice, an accredited qualification, or a guarantee of a particular exam result, job outcome or improvement. English usage can depend on context and regional conventions; please report suspected errors so we can review them.
Practice content is available on the device. Purchases, restoring or refreshing ownership, and sending feedback depend on internet access and third-party services. Availability can be affected by outages, maintenance, store decisions or device compatibility.
We may make reasonable changes to improve content, correct errors, maintain security or comply with law. We will provide notice where a material change affects paid content and the law requires it, and preserve any rights you have to a remedy. These terms do not give us a right to remove paid content arbitrarily or avoid legal obligations to provide required updates.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law. Please take reasonable steps to avoid preventable data loss, including using the app’s backup function where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing excludes your statutory consumer rights.
Privacy and ownership
Our privacy policy explains how local learning data, purchase information and optional support messages are handled. It is provided as a separate notice about our data practices.
The app, question content, branding and website are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Third-party components remain subject to their own licences. You retain your rights in messages or other material you provide to support; we may use that material as needed to answer and resolve your request.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms for changes to the app, services or legal requirements. The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to an existing purchase.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. This does not prevent consumers from relying on local legal rights or bringing a claim in courts available to them under applicable law.
For questions or complaints, email support@oracha.co.uk or write to our registered office above. Include the app platform, version and a description of the issue so we can help.
