The essentials: your answers and learning history stay on your device. Purchases use Apple or Google and RevenueCat. Optional in-app feedback is sent through Web3Forms.

No English Precision account is required. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

English Precision and this website are provided by ORACHA (UK) LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (number 15517641). We are the controller of personal information processed for the purposes described here.

Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Email: support@oracha.co.uk.

This policy covers the English Precision iOS and Android apps, this website and support enquiries. Apple, Google and other providers also have their own policies for services they operate.

What stays on your device

You do not need to create an English Precision account. The app stores your profile preferences, selected English variant, answers, session history, learning progress, pack choices and reminder settings locally. We do not receive your practice answers or learning history as part of normal use.

Reminders are scheduled through your device’s notification system when you enable them. You can change these permissions in device settings. A notification permission does not sign you up for marketing messages.

If you export a PDF report or a progress backup, you choose where to save or share it. Your device or cloud-backup provider may also include app data in a device backup under your settings and its own policy. We cannot access or delete copies held only by you or those services.

Purchases and pack access

Apple’s App Store or Google Play handles payments. We do not receive your full payment-card details. English Precision uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, unlock packs, restore ownership, respond to refunds and understand sales.

This involves an anonymous app user identifier, purchase receipts or tokens, products purchased, transaction and ownership status, and technical information such as app version, device platform and last app use. Network services also receive connection information such as an IP address. An anonymous identifier is not your name, but it can still be personal information.

We do not send your profile name, support email, practice answers, history or backups to RevenueCat. Automatic device-identifier collection is disabled in our RevenueCat configuration, and no advertising-identifier integration is configured.

We use purchase data to perform our contract with you by delivering paid content. Our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable service, preventing purchase abuse and understanding sales also apply. Where required, records are retained to meet legal obligations.

When you contact support

If you choose Send feedback in the app, your message, topic, profile name and selected English variant are sent through Web3Forms to our support team. Your reply email is included if you provide it. Learning history and purchase identifiers are not automatically attached.

Web3Forms and its delivery and spam-prevention providers may also process connection information, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the form. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, message, attachments and normal email-delivery information.

We use this information to answer your request and resolve problems, on the basis of performing our contract where your request concerns the app or a purchase, and our legitimate interests in responding to other enquiries. Please share only what is needed; do not send passwords, full card details or sensitive personal information.

Website, cookies and advertising

This website does not use advertising pixels, analytics scripts, tracking cookies or third-party font services. The sample question runs in your browser; answers are not saved or sent to us. Support links open your own email application.

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, time and error details, to serve and protect the site. Our legitimate interest is keeping the website available and secure. Any essential cookies imposed by the hosting service are separate from advertising or behavioural tracking.

We do not sell personal information or use your learning progress for targeted advertising. English Precision does not include an advertising SDK. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.

Service providers and international processing

We use the following services for the functions described above:

  • Apple and Google: app distribution, store accounts and payments.
  • RevenueCat: purchase validation, pack ownership, restoration and sales reporting.
  • Web3Forms: delivering optional in-app support messages, using its hosting, email and spam-prevention providers.
  • Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery and security.
  • Our email providers: delivering support correspondence.

These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States and India. Their policies and data-processing terms describe their locations and safeguards. Where transfer restrictions apply, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses with the required UK provisions, are needed. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the service and its users. We do not give providers access to local learning progress that the app does not transmit.

How long information is kept

Local learning data remains on your device until you reset or remove it. Removing the app may leave separate device or cloud backups; manage those through the relevant provider. Exported files remain wherever you save them.

Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and related follow-up, manage complaints or establish legal claims. Purchase records are retained as needed to maintain ownership and restore access, handle refunds and disputes, and meet applicable accounting or legal duties. We use the purpose of each record, any unresolved issue and applicable legal requirements to decide when it can be deleted.

Providers may have additional retention rules. For example, Web3Forms’ policy currently states that form submissions may be retained for up to three years unless a shorter period applies or the data is deleted earlier. Deleting the app does not delete store transaction records or messages you already sent.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Email support@oracha.co.uk to make a request. We may need enough information to verify your request and locate a support or purchase record. Please do not send unnecessary identity documents. Data stored only on your device cannot be retrieved by us.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or to your local data-protection authority. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the chance to help.

Children and security

English Precision is a general learning app and does not require a child to create an online profile. Parents and guardians should manage app-store permissions, purchases and any support information shared by children. If a child has sent personal information and you want it reviewed or removed, contact us.

We use access controls and encrypted network connections for the services we operate. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device protected and store exported reports and backups carefully.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the app, website or data practices change, and change the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted through appropriate channels, such as this website or the app. A privacy question can always be sent to our support address.
